It was attended by Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, etc. and the graduates and their parents, teachers, students and Korean residents.

Congratulatory messages from the Education Commission of the DPRK and institutions of Chongryon were read out at the ceremony.

Ho in his congratulatory speech said that it is the honorable duty of the graduates to invariably carry forward the brilliant traditions of patriotism.

He hoped that the graduates would live up to the expectations of the organizations of Chongryon and Korean compatriots in Japan that they would more fully display the might of Chongryon.

Jang Pyong Thae, rector of the university, made a report.

Graduates were awarded citations of the Education Commission of the DPRK, the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon and the university and prizes for graduation papers.

There was a speech on behalf of the graduates.

A letter to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was read out at the ceremony.

After the ceremony, there took place an art performance of the graduates.
