Stop to Joint Military Drills Demanded in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- According to the south Korean online newspaper Tongil News, civic and social organizations of south Korea including the People's Action for Peace against War, the Solidarity for Social Progress and the Workers' Solidarity called a press conference in Seoul on March 13 at which they demanded an immediate stop to the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military maneuvers. They charged that the on-going war rehearsals, which made a preemptive attack on the DPRK an established fact, are seriously disturbing peace as they escalate the danger of war on the Korean peninsula. They called for the policy of eliminating the evils left by the Park Geun Hye regime and heading for lasting peace and reunification. |
