U.S.-S. Korea Joint Military Drill Slammed Abroad
Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- Organizations in Denmark and Iceland on Mar. 7 made public statements in denunciation of the U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises targeting the DPRK.

The Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association said in its statement:

Large-scale joint military exercises are now going on in south Korea under the baton of the U.S.

The exercises with all sorts of the U.S. strategic assets including nuclear carriers, nuclear submarine, nuclear strategic bombers and stealth fighters involved are an open and actual war drill aimed to make a preemptive attack on the DPRK.

We strongly condemn the said military drill.

We extend full support and solidarity to the just struggle of the Korean people for neutralizing the danger of war on the Korean peninsula and protecting the country's sovereignty and prestige.

The Iceland-DPRK Friendship and Cultural Society in its statement strongly rejected the joint military exercises as a dangerous action which further inflames the acute situation on the Korean peninsula.

The society demanded that the U.S. promptly stop the war games and accept the fair proposals of the DPRK for ironing out the tension and creating peaceful environment on the Korean peninsula by replacing the armistice agreement with a peace accord.
