The political history of south Korea recorded lots of mass resistance, big or small, but never has there been such a case in which the people defeated injustice with candlelight of justice and won all-people victory by bringing down the pro-American conservative regime which boasted of omnipotent power.

Minju Joson Thursday says in a commentary in this regard:

The south Koreans won a victory in their anti-Park resistance but it is just a beginning in the actions for genuine justice and social progress.

Nothing will change fundamentally although scarecrow-like Park is brought down.

On the contrary, the group of conservatives including Hwang Kyo An, Han Min Gu, Yun Pyong Se and Hong Yong Phyo are enforcing the treacherous policy of Park, noisily fanning up the confrontation atmosphere between fellow countrymen.

This is no more than a desperate effort to turn back the stream of the history at any cost by currying favor with the U.S.-Japan masters.

The south Korean people should definitely throw overboard the reactionaries of history with the zeal and courage with which they brought down the citadel of pro-U.S. and pro-Japanese conservative forces by dint of justice and unity and work hard to carve out a bright future of new society and reunification and prosperity.
