On March 10 the U.S. Department of State once again disclosed its sinister intention to accelerate the deployment of THAAD, asserting that the "south Korea-U.S. alliance remains solid " and "regime change in south Korea would not affect the deployment of THAAD."

Angered by this, organizations of various circles are becoming increasingly assertive that "in the wake of impeachment of Park Geun Hye there should be changes in the unification and diplomatic policies."

Members of the Songju Emergency Measure Committee for Defending Holy Land of Won Buddhism launched over-night sit-in strike around the road leading to the holy land on March 11.

Many other organizations released statements denouncing the deployment of THAAD.
