THAAD Deployment and War Drills Denounced in S. Korea

Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- The Kwangju Action to Check THAAD Deployment and the South Jolla Movement Headquarters in south Korea reportedly called press conferences on March 13 in protest against THAAD Deployment and demand of stop to the joint military drills.

Meanwhile, the People's Action for Peace against War held a joint press conference with 41 organizations in Seoul on the same day to urge the authorities to stop the joint military drills with the U.S. and establish a peace-keeping mechanism.

Speakers demanded an immediate stop to the joint military drills as they escalate the danger of war on the Korean peninsula and back the moves to form the U.S.-Japan-south Korea tri-angular military alliance and provide Japan with a chance for reinvasion.
