In recent years, the factory began home-production of additives including pigment. And over 20 kinds of trial products successfully passed through clinical examinations.

The factory, in particular, laid a sci-tech foundation for developing the cosmetics industry by establishing a Korean-style system of classifying cosmetics and methods of examining them.

To keep the global trend of cosmetics development, it set it as a goal to produce natural and functional cosmetics as required by people.

The factory also worked out the business strategy based on science and technology and has pushed ahead with further increasing the proportion of locally available raw materials.

When visiting the factory in February Juche 104 (2015), respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un called for exerting every effort to produce cosmetics with world competitive edge.
