It carries 80 works including talks, speeches and concluding speeches made by Kim Jong Il from August to December Juche 60 (1971).

The works deal with the fact that Kim Jong Il led the work to celebrate the 60th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung as the greatest holiday of the nation and strengthened the party work and saw to it that miracles and innovations were brought about in all the fields of socialist cultural construction.

There are works stressing the need to scientifically formulate the revolutionary idea of the President and intensify the dissemination of the Juche idea among foreign countries. They indicate the problems for improving the party work to suit the characteristics of people.

Some of the works highlight the importance of arousing creators and artistes in the field of literature and art to implementing the policy of the Workers' Party of Korea on literature and art and directing efforts to the work with the people from all walks of life to further consolidate the revolutionary ranks.

The book also contains the works indicating tasks for creating literary pieces depicting the leader and improving the edition and publication as required by the Party's monolithic ideological system.

Some works give answers to the theoretical and practical problems arising in the revolution and construction such as conducting information service to meet the characteristics of the railway transport field and fully implementing the Party's policy on making sports mass-based and part of one's daily life and developing magic art and acrobatics in a diverse way.
