S. Korea: Terming Teachers Union Lawless Declared Null

Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- The Teachers Union of south Korea (Jongyojo) staged an over-night sit-in outside the building of the puppet government in Seoul and the "National Assembly" in Youido on Mar. 15 and 16 to demand the nullification of terming the union lawless and reinstatement of its former cadres, according to the south Korean internet paper Voice of People.

Jongyojo urged the authorities to reinstate 33 former trade union cadres who were dismissed last year and allow application for reinstating 37 this year.

It held a press conference on Mar. 15 in front of the Supreme Court and demanded rapid handling of the suit on nullifying the notice on outlawing the union.
