Present there on invitation were officials of the political parities, government, ministries, organizations and institutions of Russia including the secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation who is also chief of the Russia-Korea Friendship Parliamentary Group of the State Duma of Russia, the roving ambassador of the Foreign Ministry, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Zavtra, officials of the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Energy, the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the Russkiy Mir Foundation, the Academy of Sciences, TASS and Interfax.

The DPRK ambassador to Russia and his embassy officials were present.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before an art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il standing together before paying tribute to them.

Speeches were made there.

Meanwhile, receptions were given at the DPRK missions in Vladivostok and Khabarovsk on March 17.
