Environmental Measuring Instrument Developed in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- Researching groups of the Institute of Medical Science under the Ministry of Public Health and Kim Chaek University of Technology in the DPRK jointly developed an environmental measuring instrument suited to the specific conditions of the country.

The instrument is low in production cost and measures micro-density air pollutants accurately.

In this regard, Jong Sang Hyon, director of the Institute of Medical Science, told KCNA:

Researchers of the institute fully solved technical problems arising in manufacturing the measuring instrument.

They newly designed a real-time air pollution monitoring system, which can measure pollutants in the air and atmospheric temperature and humidity in a comprehensive way.

They also developed a classifier to measure the density of materials harmful to human body in air dust.

And the research group of Kim Chaek University of Technology made a drive circuit of gas sensor for the environmental measuring instrument.

Its application proved that all measurements reached the world level in accuracy.
