U.S., S. Korean Warmongers Stage DPRK-targeted Preemptive Nuclear Strike Maneuver at Sea

Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- According to south Korean press reports, the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean trigger-happy forces kicked off a joint naval combat group drill and carrier amphibious assault group exercise aimed at a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK in all waters of south Korea on Mar. 19 as part of the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises.

Involved in the maneuvers to be staged until Mar. 25 are more than 60 warships and sea-patrol planes, copters, fighters, etc. of the army, navy and air forces of the U.S. and south Korea as well as the task force of nuclear carrier Carl Vinson, destroyers and subs.

The naval maneuvers to be staged in the waters of the South Sea of Korea in order will involve counter-sub, counter-warship and anti-air warfares, naval intercepting operation, carrier escort operation, naval live shell bombardment drills, etc.
