Ponghwa Revolutionary Site Visited by Endless Stream of People
Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- At least 818 000 servicepersons, civilians and school youth and children of the DPRK have visited the Ponghwa Revolutionary Site since Juche 100 (2011).

The site tells about the noble revolutionary life and undying feats of Kim Hyong Jik, outstanding leader of the anti-Japanese national liberation movement in Korea and an indomitable revolutionary fighter.

There are Myongsin School where he instilled into the younger generation ardent patriotism and firm will to liberate the country even in the difficult days of guiding the anti-Japanese independence struggle, a house where he conducted the revolutionary activities living together with his family members, the place on Mt. Ponghwa where a secret meeting was held, Monument to Pisok-gye and Maekjon Ferry, etc.
