S. Korean Paper Urges Regime to Scrap Diplomatic and Security Policies

Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- A south Korean online paper in an editorial on Mar. 20 demanded the authorities scrap their diplomatic and security policies of imploring for hostility toward the DPRK. The recent trips to south Korea and Japan by the U.S. secretary of state were aimed to abandon the failed "strategic patience" policy of the Obama administration and draw up a new "north Korea policy" of the present U.S. administration, the editorial said, adding: The problem which the south Korean people should guard against ahead of the snap "president election" is a serious security policy of the forces still in power which are to blame for abusing "state administration". The said policies of soliciting THAAD deployment and hostility to the north while talking about alliance with the U.S. should be scrapped. No reasonable diplomatic and security policies can be expected from the forces that seek private interests, not genuine interests of the people, the editorial held. |
