Kim Jong Un Sends Birthday Spreads to Persons of Merits
Pyongyang, March 23 (KCNA) -- Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent birthday spreads to Pak Chang Song, a war veteran living in Somun-dong, Central District of Pyongyang, on the 90th birthday and Ryu Yong Bo, a researcher at Kim Chaek University of Technology, on the 70th birthday.

Born into a poor family in Myongchon County of North Hamgyong Province, Pak was subject to the sorrow of being a member of the stateless nation. He could lead a genuine happy life as a human being only in the country liberated by President Kim Il Sung.

After graduating from the then Security Officers Training Centre, he devotedly safeguarded the party and the leader during the past Fatherland Liberation War. Later he had faithfully served in the army.

He was awarded Order of Kim Il Sung and a watch bearing the august name of the President and had honor of attending various conferences including the Sixth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 4th National Conference of War Veterans.

Born into a peasant's family, People's Scientist, Prof. and Dr. Ryu has worked as a researcher and section chief for more than 40 years since his graduation from Kim Chaek University of Technology.

He has devoted his wisdom and zeal to the training of scientific and technical personnel and the scientific researches of exploring the CNC technology and developing it to the highest level and wrote many books, textbooks, reference books and treatises worth national treasure.

He attended national conferences of scientists and technicians and was honored to receive high state commendations.
