The letter said that the participants in the seminar unanimously asserted the self-reliance serves as a basic mode of struggle for realizing the Juche idea.

It went on:

The Juche idea was comprehensively developed by Kim Jong Il, eternal leader of the Workers' Party of Korea, and has now faithfully been carried forward by Kim Jong Un.

The self-reliance is a key to realizing the desire of all the downtrodden and oppressed people in the world and guidelines giving peace and happiness to mankind.

The DPRK which realized the self-reliance has made development in all aspects such as industry, agriculture and science and technology and dynamically advanced along the way of achieving prosperity in spite of difficulties under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The participants in the seminar strongly urged the secretary-general of the UN to make it lift the sanctions against the DPRK.

The letter stressed that the participants would make positive contribution to the development and prosperity of the region under the uplifted banner of the Juche idea in building a new independent society.
