Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Zongnan Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China issued a statement on March 22 urging the Trump administration of the U.S. to make a U-turn in its policy toward the DPRK. Denouncing U.S. State Secretary Tillerson for threatening to take a military option against the DPRK despite his acknowledgement that all efforts of the U.S. to realize the "denuclearization of the north" resulted in a failure and Obama's policy of "strategic patience" went belly-up, the statement said: What Tillerson said is tantamount to the declaration of intention to follow the policy of sanctions and pressure pursued by Obama before leaving the White House. Then, it is clear that the Trump administration will as ever push the DPRK to bolster its nuclear deterrent. The nuclear force of the DPRK is a treasured sword and the most reliable war deterrent to defend the socialist homeland and the genuine life of its people from the nuclear threat posed by the U.S. Trump should be mindful that to make a U-turn in its DPRK policy would be the only way for saving the destiny of the U.S. He should understand that frequent fabrication of UN "resolutions" can never help change anything, and make efforts to create an atmosphere for peace talks by stopping the on-going DPRK-targeted nuclear war drills immediately and withdrawing its aggressor troops from south Korea. The Trump government should not waste money and time through its huge military spending out of its wild dream but face up to the trend of the times. |
