Lecture Meeting Marks 49th Independence Day of Bangladesh

Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- A lecture meeting took place at the Chollima Hall of Culture here on Monday to mark the 46th anniversary of independence of Bangladesh.

Present there were the chairman and members of the DPRK-Bangladesh Friendship Association and citizens.

The chairman in his commemorative lecture referred to the successes made by the government and people of Bangladesh in their struggle to build a new society since its independence.

At the end of the lecture, the participants watched an art performance of schoolchildren.
