Group G Matches for 2018 AFC U-23 Championship Qualifiers to Be Held in Pyongyang

| Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- Group G matches for the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship qualifiers will be held in Pyongyang from July 19 to 23. According to a result, Group G includes men's teams of the DPRK, Laos, Taipei of China and Hong Kong of China. On July 19, the DPRK will compete against Hong Kong of China and Taipei of China against Laos. The DPRK team was included in Group G for the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship qualifiers. At that time, it secured the first place in the group with two wins and one draw. Meanwhile, Group B matches for the AFC Women's Asian Cup Jordan 2018 Qualifiers are slated for April in Pyongyang. The DPRK Football Association is pushing ahead with the preparations for the successful holding of games. |
