Rodong Sinmun Blasts U.S., S. Korean Forces for Repeating History of Setbacks

Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces are getting frantic in their moves to isolate and stifle the DPRK. This amounts to reckless acts of repeating their history woven with shame and setbacks, ignorant of what sign of ruin is befalling them. Rodong Sinmun on Wednesday says this in an article. It goes on: The U.S. has experienced only setbacks in the showdown with the DPRK. It threatened and blackmailed the DPRK with nuclear stick and appeased it with dollars, but it has never succeeded in bringing the latter to its knees. On the contrary, it suffered bitter shame in the eyes of the world. The same is true of the south Korean puppet forces. They have gone wild as a shock force in the U.S. campaign for escalating sanctions and pressure on the DPRK like a blind pony. This, however, has got them nowhere. The south Korean group of traitors blustered quite often that it is a matter of time for "the north to collapse". But it was the Park Geun Hye regime that collapsed. After all, their sanctions and pressure on the DPRK ended in tightening the noose around their necks. The Obama administration's "strategic patience" policy for the "north's dismantlement of its nukes" and the Park Geun Hye regime's "confidence-building process" aimed to lead the DPRK to "changes and collapse of social system" met final setbacks. If the U.S. and the south Korean puppet authorities ratchet up sanctions and pressure upon the DPRK, persistently clinging to the hostile policy, this will only entail tragic consequences of precipitating their miserable end. |
