S. Korean Bodies Protest against Repression of Reunification Champion

Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- Civic and social organizations in Kwangju of south Korea held a press conference on March 27 to protest against the puppet police's violent suppression of a pro-reunification activist, according to the south Korean internet paper Voice of People.

The Kwangju Police Agency searched the house of a resident in Namgu, Kwangju City on March 20 on the suspicion of possession and distribution of "literature benefiting enemy" and launched an investigation into the person by mobilizing the Security Investigation Group.

At the press conference the person vowed to struggle till the day when the people desirous of reunification can lead a worthy life free from the "Security Law".

The speakers demanded the police stop at once the suppression by the "Security Law".
