Present at the closing ceremony were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, Ro Tu Chol, vice-premier and chairman of the State Planning Commission, Ri Chung Gil, chairman of the State Science and Technology Commission, Sim Yong Hak, chairman of the Central Committee of the Architects Union of Korea, officials concerned and officials of those units which contributed to the exhibition.

Top and excellent diploma were awarded to the 75 successful units, individual Top and excellent diploma to 146 persons, certificate of registration of scientific and technical achievements to 7 persons, invention certificate to 19 persons and certificate of registration of February 2 products to 12 products.
