Keeping Peace Is Korean Nation's Vital Task: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- The present grim situation on the Korean peninsula urges the Korean nation to intensify the struggle to prevent a war and defend peace, Rodong Sinmun Sunday stresses in an article.

The touch-and-go situation in which a war may break out anytime is prevailing on the Korean peninsula, the article says, and goes on:

If a war breaks out on this land, it will readily spill over into a nuclear war inflicting unimaginable damage on the Korean nation.

The largest-ever joint military exercises targeting the DPRK, staged by the U.S. and its puppet warlike forces this time, clearly augur this.

All the nuclear strategic assets of the U.S. imperialists, including nuclear carrier, nuclear submarine and nuclear strategic bomber, have been involved in the military exercises.

South Korea with a lot of the U.S. weapons of mass destruction is now little short of a nuclear arsenal which can go off any moment.

The reckless nuclear war hysteria of the U.S. and south Korean puppet forces has already gone to the extremes and such foolish acts turn the Korean peninsula into the world's biggest hotbed with a high possibility of military conflict by irritating even the surrounding countries.

When the crow flies, her tail follows.

It is as clear as noonday that the daily-growing danger of a nuclear war attributable to the frantic saber-rattling targeting the DPRK will spell a catastrophic disaster in the long run.
