They said that he published a number of works to guide the trade union to discharge its mission and duty as a dependable helper and supporter of the Workers' Party of Korea in the onward movement for building a powerful socialist nation.

They called upon all the officials and members of the trade union and other working people to hold Kim Jong Il high esteem as the sun of Juche for all ages and glorify his revolutionary career and Songun revolutionary feats.

They stressed the need to display the revolutionary stamina of the heroic Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist working class in this year's all-people general charge, rallied close around respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
