Day of Sun to Be Marked in Uganda

Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- A Ugandan preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun, the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, was formed in Kampala on March 31.

Henry Masiko, director general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee decided to hold seminar, lecture meeting and other political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of the President.
