Lawyers in S. Korea Urge Stop to THAAD Deployment

| Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- Lawyers of the Society for Study of Democratic Law, the Bar Association for Democratic Society and other groups of south Korea reportedly called a press conference outside the puppet Defense Ministry building on April 4 to announce a declaration demanding halt to THAAD deployment. Saying that peace and THAAD cannot go together, speakers at the conference declared that they would launch a legal struggle against the deployment of THAAD which failed to get an approval from the "National Assembly". A declaration, made public at the conference, demanded an immediate stop to THAAD deployment threatening peace. It urged the NA to check the illegal deployment of THAAD by exercising its power. |
