DPRK Woman Weightlifter Wins Championship

| Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- Han Jong Sim, a woman weightlifter of the DPRK, bagged two gold medals and one silver in the women's 48 kg category of the 2017 World Juvenile Weightlifting Championships. On April 5, she jerked 102 kg, 4 kg more than the record of her Chinese rival, to take the first place with a total of 181 kg. She took the second place in snatch. Her records in jerk and total surpassed those records taken by Chinese weightlifters in the same category of the 2013 and 2015 championships. |
