Koreans in China Vow to Struggle for Independent National Reunification

Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- The General Association of Koreans in China, in a statement on Mar. 31, recalled that the Japanese Regional Committee of the Overseas Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration sent all the overseas Koreans an appeal to make tangible contributions to averting military conflict and the danger of nuclear war on the homeland and ensure the peace and improve the inter-Korean ties and hold a pan-national conference without fail and usher in the heyday for nation-wide reunification movement.

The general association and all Koreans in China fully support the appeal, it noted.

The statement expressed the will to extend firm support and solidarity to the activities of political parties and social organizations and broad masses of people in south Korea aspiring after independence and democracy and make positive contribution to achieving the great national unity and independent reunification together with the Koreans in the north and the south and abroad.
