Pyongyang City Taekwon-do Team came first in team standing in the championship.

Jagang Provincial Taekwon-do Sports Team took the first place in Taekwon-do event.

In group sparring matches, male players of South Hamgyong Provincial Taekwon-do Sports Team and female players of Pyongyang City Taekwon-do Sports Team placed first.

Pyongyang City Taekwon-do Sports Team won in the Paduk event.

Recipients of technical prizes in Taekwon-do event were Ri Il Ryong (man) from North Hamgyong Provincial Taekwon-do Sports Team, Kim Hyang Sim (female) from North Phyongan Provincial Taekwon-do Sports Team. Ri Kyong Guk (male) of Pyongyang City Taekwon-do Sports Team and Ham Un Gyong (female) of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee were awarded individual technical prizes of Paduk.

A closing ceremony was held at the Basketball Gymnasium in Chongchun Street on April 7.

Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, officials concerned and players, coaches and citizens.
