Iranian Ambassador Gives Reception
Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- Iranian Ambassador to the DPRK Seyed Mohsen Emadi Friday gave a reception at the embassy on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there on invitation were Choe Thae Bok, chairman of the Supreme People's Assembly, Thae Hyong Chol, president of Kim Il Sung University and concurrently minister of Higher Education who is chairman of the DPRK-Iran Friendship Parliamentary Group, Jong Yong Su, minister of Labor and chairman of the DPRK-Iran Friendship Association, Kim Jong Suk, chairwoman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, and officials concerned.

Iranian embassy officials were on hand.

The ambassador said in his speech that President Kim Il Sung is the great leader who founded the DPRK and fathered the Juche idea, an original revolutionary philosophy.

He referred to the feats of the President who frustrated the threat and blackmail of the hostile forces and their moves to stifle the DPRK and achieved progress and prosperity by leading the Korean revolutionary armed forces to victory.

He wished the Korean people greater success in their struggle to develop the country under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, true to the behests of the President.

Choe Thae Bok said that the whole life of the President is a sacred history of the peerlessly great man that shines with loving care for the country, the people and the nation.

The army and people of the DPRK have put spurs to the all-people general offensive to realize the patriotic desire of the great leaders for building a powerful country under the grand blueprint unrolled by Kim Jong Un, regarding it as their supreme duty and moral obligation to live and struggle as befitting the descendants of the President, he noted.

He stressed that everlasting will be the feats the President performed for the development of the friendly relations between the DPRK and Iran and for global independence.
