S. Korean Bodies Demand Withdrawal of THAAD Deployment

Pyongyang, April 9 (KCNA) -- The Songju Committee for Struggle against THAAD Deployment, the Action for Checking THAAD Deployment and other organizations of south Korea reportedly called a press conference outside the U.S. embassy in Seoul on April 6, urging the withdrawal of THAAD deployment and the decision of the U.S. government.

Speakers at the conference said that THAAD brings nothing good to south Korea but arms race, war and disaster to the world.

If the U.S. persists in THAAD deployment in violation of the people's sovereignty, the candlelight action which ousted dictator Park Geun Hye will be directed to the U.S., they stressed.
