Seminars on Kim Il Sung's Exploits Held in Different Countries

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- Seminars on President Kim Il Sung's exploits were held in DR Congo, Ethiopia, Pakistan and Nepal on Mar. 17-25, ahead of the Day of the Sun, the birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung. On display at their venues were photos showing the revolutionary careers and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the revolutionary activities of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. There were also their works and books and pictures introducing the Korean army and people in their struggle to usher in a golden age in building a socialist power. Boswa Isekombe Sylvere, general secretary of the Communist Party of DR Congo and chairman of the preparatory committee of DR Congo for celebrating the Day of the Sun, praised Kim Il Sung as a distinguished thinker-theoretician, invincible and iron-willed commander, peerlessly great man and father of all people. Andre Lohekele Kalonda, chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo, said that the President is the greatest man who devoted his all to the people's happiness, the country's prosperity and the cause of global independence, adding his exploits will be always kept in the hearts of the Korean people and the world progressives. Nigatu Dagnachew Cherinet, chairman of the Ethiopian preparatory committee for celebrating the 105th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, said that the President is a prominent leader as he defeated the U.S. and Japanese imperialists in one generation, built a genuine people's country in Korea and made titanic contributions to the cause of global independence. Berkat Ullah, chairman of the Pakistani Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea, and others recalled that the President achieved the historic cause of national liberation, turned the DPRK into a socialist country independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence and dynamically advanced the cause of independence against imperialism. |
