U.S. Colonial Rule over South Korea Is Bound to Collapse: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- The U.S. which has closely followed the chaotic political climate in south Korea is working hard to maintain its colonial rule by running the whole gamut of tricks, displeased with the ever-increasing possibility of collapse of the conservative regime and regime change by the progressive pro-reform forces in south Korea, says Rodong Sinmun Monday in an article.

The article goes on:

The reality goes to clearly prove that the U.S. remains unchanged in its wild ambition for maintaining its colonial rule over south Korea and gets ever more sly and vicious in its methods to quench the south Korean people's growing desire for independence.

Whenever south Korea faced a serious political crisis and the popular struggle for achieving democracy grew strong, the U.S. maintained its colonial rule by replacing its lackeys with others and setting up a new puppet regime.

The U.S. works hard to maintain its colonial rule over south Korea in a bid to attain its interests for aggression.

There exists the "National Assembly" and "government" in south Korea but they are no more than camouflage to cover up the aggressive and exploitative colonial domination system of the U.S.

The U.S. has occupied south Korea for over 70 years, mercilessly trampling down the aspiration and demand of the south Korean people for independence, democracy and reunification and buckling down to preserving its colonial rule over it. This impudent act should never be pardoned.

The colonial rule that divided the territory of Korea and the homogeneous Korean nation into two and inflicted unbearable pain upon the Koreans is bound to collapse by the united struggle of Koreans in the north, the south and abroad.
