To be screened during the film week at cinemas and cultural houses in Pyongyang and provinces are documentaries such as "The President to Be Remembered by Humankind Forever", "Eternal Sun of Humankind" and "Always Remembering the Leader" dealing with the revolutionary career of the President.

Feature films like "Star of Korea", "Sun of Nation", "Great Embrace", etc. will also be shown.

An opening ceremony held at the People's Palace of Culture Monday was attended by officials concerned, creators and artistes in the field of film art and working people in the city.

Minister of Culture Pak Chun Nam in his opening address said the film week would help all the party members and other people grasp more deeply the undying exploits performed by the President and leader Kim Jong Il for the times and the revolution, the country and its people and their noble personalities.

At the end of the ceremony the participants watched documentary "Our Leader Praised by All People".

The film week also opened in provinces on the same day.
