Day of Sun to Be Marked in South Africa

Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- The South African Communist Party organized a preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun, the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, on April 7.

Second Deputy General Secretary Solly Mapaila was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee set a celebration period from April 8 to 17 and decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary career and exploits of the President and hold colorful political and cultural events supporting the just cause of the Korean army and people.
