The letter noted that the completion of the street is a gift of loyalty presented by the descendents of President Kim Il Sung, soldiers and disciples of leader Kim Jong Il to the President and Kim Jong Il, a great victory achieved by the Party and the state, the service personnel and people and a great and auspicious all-people event.

It said that the Central Committee of the WPK, the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK extended the warmest thanks and militant greetings to the service personnel of the Korean People's Army, shock brigade members and their helpers from across the country for building Ryomyong Street in a short span of 9 months.

The fighting spirit displayed by the participants in the construction and their helpers to devotedly implement the intention of the Party and the exploits performed by them will be recorded as a shining page in the history of the glorious Juche revolution along with prospering Pyongyang, it noted.

The letter underlined the need for the Party and the state, the service personnel and people to attain earlier the strategic goals for building a socialist power as planned at the 7th Congress of the WPK true to the great leaders' patriotic cause for building a power.

It expressed belief that the service personnel and shock brigade members involved in the construction and their helpers would proactively contribute to hastening the final victory of the Juche revolution by ceaselessly making great leaps forward and innovations at their posts for safeguarding the country and at their worksites for building a socialist power.
