The organizations included the Japanese preparatory committee for celebrating the 105th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung and the 75th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il, the Nagano Prefectural People's Council for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, the Japan-Korea Society for Scientific and Educational Interchange, the Shigoku Liaison Society for Japan-Korea Friendship, the Hiroshima Prefectural People's Council for Japan-Korea Friendship and the Korean Friendship Association.

He also received a floral basket from the family of Sin Kanemaru, former vice-prime minister of Japan, on the same day.
