The four-chapter book carries revolutionary anecdotes left by President Kim Il Sung in the period from September Juche 37 (1948) to July Juche 38 (1949) when he was organizing and leading the work to consolidate the foundation of the self-supporting national economy and develop the Korean People's Army into an invincible army right after the birth of the Republic.

Chapter 41 "Consolidating the Republic as firm as an iron rock" deals with the selfless dedication made by the President to rally the broad masses right after the establishment of the DPRK government.

Chapter 42 "For fulfillment of the two-year plan for national economy!(1)" deals with anecdotes telling about the devoted efforts made by the President who energetically led the struggle to arouse all the people to carrying out the two-year plan for the national economy which set it as its priority task to do away with the colonial one-sidedness of the economy, the after-effect of the harsh rule of the Japanese imperialists, and lay a foundation for the self-supporting national economy.

Chapter 43 "For fulfillment of the two-year plan for national economy!(2)" conveys stories telling about the personality of the President as a great man who devoted himself to bringing joy and happiness to the people.

Chapter 44 "To guarantee prosperity of Republic with arms" carries stories dealing with the matchless pluck, courage and outstanding commanding art of the illustrious commander of Mt Paektu who resolutely foiled the reckless war moves of the U.S. imperialists and the Syngman Rhee puppet clique aimed to stifle the young DPRK.
