A starting ceremony was held at the Mangyongdae Children's Camp on Saturday.

Its participants placed a floral basket and bunches of flowers at a mosaic depicting the image of President Kim Il Sung at the camp and paid tribute to him.

At the ceremony, speakers referred to their joy and happiness of having a pleasant camping life at the Mangyongdae Children's Camp splendidly remodeled under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

They underlined the need for the campers to consolidate the knowledge they learned at schools and train their bodies and mind to be robust.

The first-term camping also started at the Songdowon International Children's Camp, the December 6 Children's Camp in Kangwon Province, the Sokam Children's Camp and other children's camps across the country.
