On display at the exhibition were photos showing the revolutionary careers and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the revolutionary activities of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were their works, and books and photos introducing the DPRK and craftwork showing the creative talents of the Korean people.

Present at the opening ceremony were political and social figures, masses and those concerned of the press of Russia and the DPRK charge d'affaires ad interim to Russia and his embassy officials.

A lawmaker of Sankt-Peterburg City said that it is the city's honor to splendidly celebrate the 105th birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people, adding:

The President was an outstanding and great man who built socialist Korea with the popular masses as makers of history and made gigantic contributions to strengthening the Workers' Party of Korea and accomplishing the human cause of independence.

His idea and cause are creditably carried forward by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The Korean people will always win victories under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The head of a Russian orchestra said that the President was a benevolent father who made his lifelong dedication to the people's happiness.

The Korean people, diligent and honest-minded, have grown up to be great with a strong will thanks to the President.

No people in the world are more blessed with illustrious leaders generation after generation than the Korean people.

The exhibition goes on till April 21.
