At the services sermons were preached and prayers were made to vow to make positive contributions to paving a broad avenue to independent reunification by concerted efforts of all Koreans this significant year in which the Korean nation will mark the 45th anniversary of the publication of the historic July 4 joint statement and the 10th anniversary of the October 4 declaration and discharging the duty of Christians in successfully holding the pan-national conference for reunification as an immediate task and thereby make tangible contributions to improving the inter-Korean relations.

Then a joint prayers agreed with the "Council of Christian Churches in south Korea" was said and the communion services took place to mark Easter.
