Overseas Koreans Feted
Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- A reception was given for overseas Koreans at the People's Palace of Culture Sunday on the occasion of the 105th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there on invitation were the congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan for celebrating the Day of the Sun led by Kwon Sun Hwi, adviser of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, the congratulatory group of the General Association of Koreans in China for celebrating the Day of the Sun led by Chairwoman Choe Un Bok and other overseas Koreans delegations and overseas Koreans staying in the homeland.

Present there were Kim Yong Chol, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Jin Guk, director of the Agency of Overseas Korean Affairs, and officials concerned.

Kim Yong Chol said in his speech that the President fathered the immortal Juche idea and laid a solid groundwork for the prosperity of posterity and led all the Koreans along the road of patriotism.

He expressed the conviction that the overseas Koreans would hold President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in high esteem for all ages and dynamically keep to the path of national reunification and the building of a powerful country under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Kwon Sun Hwi praised Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for giving origin to the Juche-based movement of the overseas Koreans and leading it along the road of victory.

The adviser expressed the will to glorify the idea and cause of the great leaders forever true to the intention of Kim Jong Un and make a patriotic contribution to building the best Paektusan power and accomplishing the cause of the country's reunification by keeping pace with the people in the homeland in their all-out general charge.
