President Kim Il Sung is the most prominent great leader and statesman in human history.

He liberated Korea from the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule, defeated the U.S. imperialists in the Fatherland Liberation War and turned socialist Korea into a paradise for people.

He had energetically worked to realize the national reunification till the last moments of his life.

That's why the Korean people have grandly celebrated his birth anniversary as the Day of the Sun, holding him in high esteem as the sun of the nation.

The President, who dedicated all his life to the happiness of the people, clearly showed the road ahead of the cause of global independence.

He is a great internationalist as he rendered material and moral support to the peoples in Asia, Africa and Latin America struggling for national liberation.

Maung Maung Naying, director general of the Myit Tar Moe Publishing House of Myanmar, praised the President as the peerless elder statesman and the greatest man who led the Korean revolution to victory under the banner of independence and steered the human cause of independence.
