Fishery Stations Make Good Hauls in DPRK
Pyongyang, April 17 (KCNA) -- Fishery stations in the west coastal area of the DPRK are making good hauls.

According to O Kwang Dok, vice-director of the Ministry of Fisheries, fishery stations have caught a lot of fish from early March.

Now, a hundred and scores of fishing boats are conducting an intensive fishing campaign in the waters off Monggumpho and around Cho Islet, he said, adding:

The Unjon Fishery Station, in particular, has made such achievements as catching nearly 100 tons of fish per boat.

The Kamapho Fishery Station has increased the fish catch by introducing advanced methods.

Similar successes have been witnessed at other fishery stations, including the Mundok, Nampho, Kwaksan, Jongju and Cholsan fishery stations.
