S. Korean Bodies Hold Meeting for Peace against War

Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) -- The South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration, the People's Action for Peace against War, the Women's Solidarity and other organizations and inhabitants of south Korea held a meeting of world women's peace action against THAAD deployment and war in Seoul on April 15, according to the south Korean online paper Tongil News.

The participants in the meeting denounced the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet authorities for provocation driving the situation of the Korean peninsula to the brink of a war.

Saying that the tragedy of fratricidal war should be no longer allowed for posterity, they urged the "presidential" candidates to proactively work to remove the war crisis on the Korean peninsula and declare that any allies should never do such action that might impinge on the will and interests of the Korean nation.
