In April 1957 when the people in the homeland were stepping up the post-war rehabilitation and construction with their belts tightened, the President remitted a huge amount of money as educational aid fund and stipend for children in Japan, the letter recalled, and went on:

The educational aid fund and stipend sent by the President served as life-giving water for developing the national education in an alien country and as engine for powerfully accelerating the movement of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan.

The aid fund and stipend remitted by the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu for the children in Japan so far amount to 48,005,990,390 yen in Japanese currency.

All Chongryon officials and other Koreans in Japan, bearing deep in mind the noble intention of the great leaders and respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who have sent the educational aid fund and stipend for the children in Japan every year over the past six decades, will intensify the national education as required by the developing movement of Koreans in Japan.
