Among them are Perilla herb oil, fir needle oil and Artemisia herb oil which are also in high demand at home and abroad.

The centre is now producing various aromatics, health foods and vegetable insecticides with those essential oils.

Choe Tung Gwang, director of the centre, told KCNA that the center is fully equipped with modern production facilities like vacuum fractionating tower and analyzer to produce high-quality essential oils and has a number of able scientists, engineers and skilled workers.

The center has also production bases in every county and city of the country, he said, adding that it is planning to develop economic cooperation and do business with foreign countries.
