DPRK Weightlifter Wins Gold Medals in Asian Weightlifting Championship

| Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) -- DPRK weightlifter Sin Chol Bom bagged gold medals in the 2017 Asian Weightlifting Championship. The sporting event now underway in Turkmenistan brought together over 150 male and female weightlifters from 29 countries and regions including the DPRK, Vietnam and Thailand. He took the first place in the 62kg jerk and finished second in the snatch, thus coming first in the event with two gold medals and one silver medal. |
