Present at the seminar were the American regional preparatory committee and other preparatory committees of 12 countries in the region for Gathering 2017-Praise to the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, personages of political and social circles, media persons and citizens of Peru, personages of friendship and solidarity organizations of different countries, the DPRK ambassador to Peru and staff members of his embassy.

Tani Baler Lopera, international secretary of the Communist Party of Peru (Red Motherland) who is chairman of the Peruvian preparatory committee, in his keynote report extended the humblest respect and the greatest glory to President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il, Marshal Kim Jong Un and Kim Jong Suk, who made great contributions to the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence, reflecting boundless reverence of the participants in the seminar and other progressive people.

Letters to the seminar from the DPRK preparatory committee and preparatory committees in different countries and regions were introduced.

Speakers praised Kim Il Sung as the peerlessly great sage unprecedented in history, father of socialist Korea and eternal sun. He will be immortal as the prominent leader of the Korean people and the world progressives as he clarified the way for emancipation of class, nation and mankind and made great contributions to the human cause of independence, they stated.

They praised Kim Jong Il for making the revolutionary idea of Kim Il Sung shine as the eternal guiding idea of the human cause of independence, injecting fresh vitality into the socialist movement and protecting the sovereignty of the country and dignity of the nation with the treasured sword of Songun.

They spoke highly of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who is demonstrating the might of the powerful Paektusan nation all over the world by translating the great leaders' wishes for building a powerful socialist nation into a reality.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
