Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- Builders who performed labor feats in the construction of the Wonsan Army-People Power Station visited Pyongyang from April 26 to 30. They visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, supreme temple of Juche, where President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il lie in state. At the halls of immortality, they paid tribute to the leaders. They toured the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum and went round historic relics preserved with much care at the old home in Mangyongdae. They also visited the Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery on Mt Taesong where they put bunches of flowers before the bust of anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk and observed a moment's silence. They also toured the Phyongchon Revolutionary Site, the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum and the Sci-tech Complex. They spent a good time at the Nature Museum, the Central Zoo, the Kaeson Youth Park, the Munsu Water Park and the Rungra Dolphinarium. They enjoyed performances given by the art squad of the Central Committee of the youth league and the National Acrobatic Troupe. At a meeting with workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, they said that the construction of the power station helped them enshrine the transparent faith that self-development is the only way-out. |
